A streaming on demand training program for Bharatanatyam. The program offers strength and conditioning, dance technique, repertoire and theory.
You will be able to stream and follow the strength and conditioning workouts to find balance, alignment and efficiency in your dance practice.
The alignment and adavu practice will offer generic corrections applicable to any style and help you find awareness in your movement practice.
The repertoire and sequencing will give you practice korwes, and Jathis, and also offer lessons in the rhythmic construct.
The program will also have guest lectures and lessons on theory of bharatanatyam that serve as tools applicable in the practice of bharatanatyam.
Video releases every two weeks.
This playlist moves into the next two Korwes of the Jatiswaram and also introduces an instructed strength video. The program is now moving into a place where it will challenge and increasing strength, while keeping alignment. Please do the exercises mindfully and pay attention to the instructions. This is a suggested playlist, so please feel free to add material that you individually need to work on.
