The Raadha Kalpa Method

Hi Rukmini Akka!

I just started the program, and I‘ve been going through the warm up, strength, alignment, and adavus series so far.

I haven’t started the repertoire yet, but if I learn it and purchase the audio, will it be ok to film clips of myself performing it?

I was planning to send to family, not post on social media, but can you tell us if you have any rules on how we can perform or share videos of us dancing it? Also, other than crediting you personally as the choreographer, is there some way that we should credit the Raadha Kalpa Method program too?

Dear Harika,

You can certainly use it to perform and film for yourself, but you cannot post or share full choreography and music on social media or youtube.

If you are posting a rehearsal or practise, it must be less than 30 secs and you must credit and tag, @raadhakalpa and @theraadhakalpamethod, choreography music etc.

You can say that you learned it on @theraadhakalpamethod if you perform it.

One more question: we are having a family event online due to COVID-19, and anyone who is a performer was asked to send in 2 minute videos. Is it okay to take clips and change the order? It won’t be publicly viewable.

If it's not visible to the public then go ahead and dance two minutes or more, no problem
